Wetland data sheets, filled in the field.
Record vegetation, soil and hydrology on iPhone, iPad or Mac. EcoFormPro runs the three-parameter test as you go, fills the official ENG Form 6116 data sheet exactly as USACE issued it, and builds the full delineation report.

How it works in the field
Locate, Plants, Soil, Water, Review. Then the paperwork is done.
Each sampling point follows the order you work in, with one next step always in view and every frequent control sized for gloves.
Output 1
The official data sheet
One filled ENG Form 6116 per sampling point, ready to preview, share or export. Check any value against what you entered.

Output 2
The delineation report
A full report PDF from the same data: findings, maps, data sheets and photo log. Until every point is ready, it is clearly titled a draft.

Built for the bog, not the desk
Fast to enter. Easy to defend.
The official form, untouched
ENG Form 6116 is filled in exactly as USACE issued it. The app frames the sheet for preview, share and export, and never restyles its contents.
Shows the math
Dominance by the 50/20 rule, prevalence index, problematic-soil rules and the FAC-neutral test are all visible, so you can check every number a reviewer might question.
Your judgment stays yours
Where evidence is disturbed or problematic you can overrule the verdict, with a required reason. The recorded data stays as entered, and the overrule is clearly marked.
Voice and Siri
Say “Carex aquatilis forty percent, water table at six inches” and review the entries before they are added. Speech is recognized on the device when supported.
Works offline
Everything is stored on the device. Download USGS imagery, topo and the NWI overlay for your project area before you lose signal.
Flag the boundary
Walk the line and drop GPS-averaged flags. Wetland polygons close themselves and report their area; streams are mapped as lines.
The whole report
Intro and methods, findings, site map, NWI comparison, every data sheet, a photo log and attachments, generated from the same data.
GIS and backup
Export points, flags and boundaries as GeoJSON, KML, GPX or CSV, and move a whole project between devices with a backup file.
Readable in the sun
Sun mode swaps glass and gradients for solid surfaces and heavy outlines. Status never relies on colour alone: every parameter carries a letter and a shape.

Platforms
iPhone in the field. iPad in the truck. Mac at the desk.
- iPhone for one-thumb entry with gloves on, voice and Siri.
- iPad, including foldable and dual-screen layouts, for reviewing every point beside the one you are editing.

FAQ
Questions
When can I use it?
EcoFormPro is in testing now. A beta through Apple’s TestFlight opens to people on the waitlist first, starting with the Alaska Region.
Which regions does the beta cover?
The Alaska Region data sheet (ENG Form 6116, SEP 2024, Version 2.0), the Alaska Regional Supplement indicators and the Alaska wetland plant list. Pick your region when you join the waitlist so we know where testers are.
Does it change the data sheet?
No. The app writes your entries into the official form and leaves the form itself exactly as USACE issued it. In dark mode the preview still shows a white sheet of paper.
Does the app make the wetland determination for me?
It runs the three-parameter test from your data and shows how it got there. The call is yours: you can overrule the verdict with a reason, and you remain responsible for the determination you submit.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Data entry, the determination, the data sheet and the report all work offline. Download map tiles for the project area while you still have a connection; soil map unit and NWI lookups need a connection when you use them.
Where is my data stored? Do I need an account?
Projects live in a database on your device. There is no account and no analytics or tracking. You decide when to export, share or back up. Details are in the privacy policy.
What devices does it run on?
iPhone, iPad (including foldable and dual-screen layouts) and Mac, on the 26 releases of iOS, iPadOS and macOS.
How much will it cost?
Pricing has not been announced. Any subscription will be sold and processed through Apple. The beta is free.
